Cerberus Frontier is an international fund manager and investor into emerging markets – primarily Georgia, Mongolia and Africa. Impact Seed supported Cerberus to develop a framework to integrate their Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) factors with Impact into an ESG(I) Framework and Strategy.

After undertaking this work, Cerberus asked Impact Seed to review the current investment practices of its three key Funds, and make a statement about how aligned it was with the ESG(I) Framework, broadly what kind of impact it was anticipated that the funds were making, and recommendations to consider for the future. The purpose of this was to have an independent third party cast an eye over their measurement strategies and conclusions to ensure that they were reasonable and transparent, and weren’t overstating impact in any way.
