Waste Not is a social and environmental enterprise based in Broome, providing an organic waste management service that builds resilient regional communities in northern Australia. Waste Not is establishing a pilot Black Soldier Fly Farming facility in Broome to develop a model of BSF farming that is suited to the northern Australian context.

Impact Seed supported Waste Not with, among other things, business planning, operational financial modelling, forming a technical advisory board and planning its pilot production program. We supported Waste Not to receive a $100,000 Regional Economic Development grant to fund its pilot project and we continue to provide support through our Groundswell program.
